I love the reds in this Iris painting. I think the blues are pretty kickin’ as well…and the greens! I also love the texture. I think I am just overall pleased with this painting. Maybe I am starting to get the hang of my experimental color palette. This one is a CMY plus white.
This is a 16 x 20 inch oil painting of wildflowers including my favorite, yellow sunflowers. This oil painting is done in both painting/palette knife and brush.
This is an 18’x 24’inch still life oil painting of red and white floppy flowers in a blue vase.
This is a little 4 x 4 inch oil painting of red daisies. I am in love with these mini paintings! They are so cute I just wanna squeeze their little cheeks and put them in my pocket!
This is an 11 X 14 inch painting of red flowers in a green vase surrounded by berries. I have not decided what kind of flowers they are. I suppose you could call them poinsettias especially with the red and green color scheme. When I painted them I was just practicing brush strokes so these are red genflowers. That is what my husband calls generic flowers.
This is an 11 X 14 inch oil painting of three red poppies against a really pretty dark blue background that reminds me of twilight. I’m very happy with the way the colors work together in this painting. The oranges and reds in the poppies look great with the blues in the sky. This one is sold.
