Kid Art, Folk Art Paint Splattered Glasses

Today in art class, the girls made splattered drinking glasses using inexpensive glasses, Folk Art enamel paint and tooth brushes.  The clear splattered glasses are apparently fancy, juice drinking glasses that the girls plan on keeping for themselves.  Kaeleigh and Maddie each painted 3 or 4 glasses in two hours.  They are planning on using the remainder for gifts this holiday season.  A really nice thing about this project is that the kids have something they can use! Plus, kids love to splatter paint and moms like pretty glasses.  These glasses are top rack dishwasher safe once baked or air cured for 21 days according to directions.
